Lot drawing to determine ballot order to be held Monday
(Denver) - The ballot for the May 4, 2010 Special Vacancy Election will be a full one. Ten candidates submitted a sufficient number of petition signatures and will appear on the ballot to fill the Denver City Council District 1 vacancy. Council declared the vacancy on Friday, March 5, 2010 following the recent resignation of Council Member Rick Garcia.
In alphabetical order, the candidates who qualified for the ballot are:
Larry Ambrose
Jerry Frangas
John Haney
Christopher Jeffrey
Jon Lehmann
Kenneth Padilla
Paula Sandoval
Susan Shepherd
Georgia Sigala
Randle Swan
A lot drawing to determine the order in which candidate names will appear on the ballot will be held Monday, March 15, 6 p.m., at the Denver Elections Division, 3888 E. Mexico Ave. Candidates, campaign staff, news media and the general public are welcome to attend.
I think they drew for ballot position today, do you have that list/order?
